The 9 Obstacles (Nava Antaras)

psychology_alt

Anxiety

Constantly anxious due to big pile of things to do, or expectations from others/yourself, thus suffering from anxiety/panic attacks (overloading of sensory nerves/nervous system). Involuntarily always in action mode, giving more than 100%, feel guilty on taking rest.

Lack of Commitment

Wavering commitment, start something with enthusiasm but it falls off soon. Get easily influenced by others, and with every new idea/trend/advise. Can’t stick to the end, too many unfinished projects, ultimately leading to severe self-doubt, and dread to start anything new, and cannot take a stand.

Severe Burnout

Extreme lack of energy to correct course of action after failing. This leads to burnout, trying harder to do things which are not working. Motivation/determination runs out, and laziness set in.

Alasya
warning

Apathy

Emotionally hurt for long to not care about anyone anymore (even yourself). One doesn’t expect much from others/self and apathy sets in.

Pramada

Overwhelm

One feels always overwhelmed, and keep pushing important personal goals with the mental commentary “Will work on goals after things get better!”. The buried goals express themselves via physical/mental chronic illness. And more importantly this doesn’t feel disgusting anymore, it has become the daily SOP, one starts to feel morally ok.

Sensory Disorientation

Unconsciously sugar-coating and avoiding pain, leading to being stuck in a place/situation which is bad. Mind and body have no access to sensory data to assess what is bad and not working well, hence feeling a false sense of security (when in reality things are a mess).

Samshaya

Dejection

Nothing brings happiness anymore, consciously avoid people/conversations, drawing back into a shell, leading to loneliness. Nothing is exciting anymore.

Avirati

Impersonation

Showcasing outward optimism even though things are not good, ignoring red flags. Leading to misrepresenting to others, becoming master in hiding true feelings, no genuine laughter, but you do laugh (from the mind, not from the heart) to avoid suspicion.

Triggered

Everything feels toxic, unjust and unfair, always getting triggered by people/situations. Dealing with everything alone, nothing is wonderful anymore.

"Towards the end of 2023, I was severely burnt out, not knowing ‘where to look at for answers’ and ‘what to do next’?

Living on the edge I felt something will give if I do not change, or get help. This led me to do a brutally honest assessment of where I stood, what am I doing, with whom, and most importantly for what?

In my search for answers, I discovered parts of Yoga which is not present in public eye, with everyone focusing on using Yoga as a tool to get some relief from their pain, rather than finding sustainable solutions.

I went back to our Sanatan roots, started reading Devi Bhagwatam and discovered the secrets left by our Rishis which have been deliberately removed by the modern system. In the process I regained my energy and health, and unknowingly became more efficient at my work, delivering results with time to spare. I tied back the practices/kriyas I followed, to scientific discoveries & proofs which have also been kept away from public eye.

From finding solutions under stress, I migrated to Uparma (getting answers without stress). Having discovered this wealth of knowledge, and more importantly the results it provided to me and my students, I resigned from my investment banking job in Feb '26 to share my learnings with you".

Corporate Lawyer

Anatara Nidhana (Proper Diagnosis)

“I really thought in the beginning, that by the end I will get a straight path out of corporate, that is what I came in with, but what I got instead is clarity - the reason I was looking for the path outside corporate was sort of an escape. It was not coming from a place of higher frequency (energy). I can only say that I'm on a different plane now, where I figured out that I'm only escaping my responsibilities, I'm not doing it for the right reasons”.

Accountability

“I had tried so many times to take my energy levels up in different ways, that never really happened. I wouldn't stay very disciplined in sticking to a routine, or practice that I would want to do. These 28 days that accountability part was very well taken care of, it helped me to get in a zone of doing something every day towards a goal”.

Improved Relationships

“Feels like 1 month is a very small short time to have effect on my relationship but it actually has. it has changed the way I look at my relationship with my peers, with my boss and especially colleagues. Earlier there was an uncertainty as to how this person will react, but during the course I have been vulnerable with my boss. I've been able to say things that I wouldn't say earlier. Also being okay with what the other person has to say”.

Energetic Mornings

“Mornings are great again, now I’m more energetic in the mornings which was the most difficult part of the day for me. Less tiredness through the day, less hunger, less wanting to snack on things! When I'm talking to people, I'm not zoning out. I'm able to concentrate on what they're saying. There is no background noise that's going on in my head”.

Uncertainty Resolved

“There has been impact on it, I cannot believe that it will in one month, my mind is telling me that you have been like this (uncertain) for so long! So there is a doubt in my mind that this can't be happening, but there is clearly less uncertainty. When I'm writing emails to people I'm not worried anymore what will happen, what will they respond, etc, that uncertainty has gone”.

Ambiguity to Clarity

“I had left corporate two and a half years ago, I was in n ambiguity like what to do, what not to do. There was no clarity at all. I wasn't able to understand which line I should go into, it was ambiguous —what will I do, will I be able to do it, what if it doesn't work out? During these 28 days, with the kriyas we did, a clarity emerged that “yes, this is it”. This shift wasn't coming before. Now, whatever I decide, or whatever decision I take, or whatever I do based on that decision, it just completely fits in. I don't have to put in separate effort, I don't even have to think separately about what to do next; one after another, that clarity keeps coming. Now I can see what I am going to do over the next three months, two months, six months, or a whole year.”

Indecision to Action

“Earlier, the ambiguity was very high; I would take two to three days just thinking because I wanted perfection—it has to be completely perfect, and only after that would I put it into action. That goal wasn't clear earlier, ten different paths were open— going back and forth like a pendulum. I wasn't able to properly decide which direction to go. So that clarity, confidence, surety has come”.

Improved Self Confidence

“I have come to a state where if something goes wrong, I can face it, I can face that challenge. After going through these 28 days, all the kriyas and the techniques that I have applied, now there is a different kind of calmness, a stillness has come into life”.

Improved Concentration

“Now, when I do something, I am able to concentrate for a longer period of time, which wasn't happening before. Earlier, I would do something for 15 or 20 minutes, then get distracted and take a break. When there is a task, now I complete it entirely before getting up”.

Improved Mental Productivity

“Currently I don't even have to think much because the mind has gone into such a state, with a lot of energy, it feels like on auto-pilot mode. I just decide that I have to do something, put in a little bit of thinking on how to do it, and the next steps open up on its own, like “What to do after this? What to do after that?”

Social Anxiety to Mental Freedom

“I don’t lose energy anymore about what anyone is saying, who is saying what, what they are thinking or not thinking, or what someone thinks about the path I am following. That thing is completed gone. Stress and anxiety have basically become null and void in my life now”.

Physical Improvement

“I feel very light. There is no heaviness in the body anymore. Earlier, there used to be a lot of tiredness after waking up in the morning; that is completely gone. I wake up totally fresh, and even after working the entire day, I don't feel any tiredness”.
